I don't recall. Beer was reasonable.
Phone is best, yes.
Humm... can't ever say I've had to call them.
This place is not amazing by any means, but my two experiences here have been more positive than the general reviews seem to be. Both times I've stopped in between flights, a server has noticed me arrive and taken my drink order quickly. The food came reasonably soon after I ordered. The servers were not chatty, but neither am I tbh. I appreciate the no-nonsense efficiency. The first time I ate here I ordered a salad, which came promptly and was quite good. The second time, I ordered the salmon w/ mashed potatoes and vegetable medley. The salmon was well cooked, flaky and flavorful. The mashed potatoes were decent. The vegetables, (zucchini and the like) were a lil watery but otherwise OK. It came with a pretty good-sized house salad with balsamic dressing as well, which I enjoyed. As others have noted, the prices are a bit high, but not too far beyond what you should expect from an airport restaurant.
The waiter new it was bad
Is an interesting place, especially if you are fan of the Cubs. It was very busy, but the staff were friendly. The food was tasty and came fast. You surely can get some Cubs paraphernalia here.
If you don’t have enough time to visit Wrigley, at least there is time between layovers to enjoy a nice meal here. I had the chicken quesadilla and a lical tap beer. My wife had the turkey panini and my daughter had the chicken Caesar salad. Everything was really good and extremely fast.
Comically bad service and turkey panini. Don’t put it on the menu if you only use the cheapest Walmart turkey from the plastic tub. They have Maplewood beer which gives them an extra star though.
Just had the worst experience. Ordered a burger and fries. Food was dumped on our table 45 minutes later with potato chips instead of fries and no explanation. Server was rude and offered no alternatives. Will make sure to never return.
Burnt dry food. Sent it back. Terrible!
Really bad service. It may be cause short staffed from covid. Either way it was bad.
So slow. It took forever to be seated, and I waited 15 minutes at a table. When no one had come to even get a drink order, I left.
I have eaten here about 9 times now during travel. The staff has always been friendly and attentive. The drinks have always been alcohol with a splash of mixer(how everyone likes it). The food has always been fresh and delicious and comes out fairly quick. I have never had a bad dining experience at Cubs. If that's not enough they have enough power outlets to feed and army and plenty of TV screens to watch. You can't go wrong with Cubs. I definitely recommend A+
Absolute worst food ever. Wings were terrible.... so small and breaded ...Dont call them famous and serve garbage
They don't list evey time on a dish. I ended up trashing half my meal
I started to give this place only one star...because I felt profiled by my server...however the manager "Miguel " has the right attitude for the job and I appreciate his sincerity in attempting to solve the issue.
Good portions and quick service if you have a layover in Chicago. Had the nachos and hotdogs and were impressed by both. Will definitely stop by next time I have a layover.
I got the Chicago style hotdog waiting for my aircraft at ORD. The hotdog was alright, mustard, onion, tomato, relish and a pickled pepper. Had the hot dog with Goose Island IpA, it has a light hoppy flavor to it. Its a medicore meal.
Really bad food, very cold. Really bad service, I waited for a very long time for any kind of service. Over priced. I won’t ever come back here.
Steak was over cooked, potatoes looked like they were frozen. The salads were decent tho.
Disgusting chicken tenders. Horrible service.
Just not very good. Tastes like freezer food.
Pretty decent meal and most importantly fast service! Without a doubt there are better places in Chicago but you also have to think it’s airport food so comparing it to places in the city isn’t a fair comparison. I got the Chicago style dog which I would highly recommend especially to someone who isn’t from Chicago to have something different (this guy from North Carolina and the south loved it). It was a good meal and most importantly quick! They get you in and out which is great for the airport or you can stay a while and have a drink if you get a flight delay (fingers crossed you don’t but happens)!
Sat down and waited thirty minutes and never got our order taken. Completely unprofessional. Not recommend for anyone in O'hare.
Very accurate representation of the Chicago Cubs. Ordered a crown and coke. Jonathan was a cunning bartender. Good drink. I asked how much — “$12 for that” - Jonathan. I asked for another and my check. $54!! I hate the cubs that much more.
Who knew bacon and eggs could cost so much..? LolDisinterested staff. So so good. Not highly recommended.
It was weird at first because you seat yourself then wait until someone sees you, but the drinks and food came within 15 minutes of me walking into the place. Service was quick yet kind!
Would not serve me because I had one drink on the plane. I'm going to my Grandma's funeral and, I cried a good bit on the plane ride here while writting her eulogy. The man working was rude. He said my eyes didn't look good. I used to work at a multi- million dollar liquor store. This behavior is not acceptable. I've never been so embarrassed. He never said more than 5 words to me. However because I had been crying he denied me and publicly humiliated me. I wish I could give negative stars. Wow!
The Cubs Bar and Grill at O'Hare's G Gates was really good, bad food. I mean what do you expect at an airport? An $18.00, three day old tuna sandwich is usually about as good as you can do. But, the Cubs Bar makes the nastiest nachos, the lamest French fries and a pretty ordinary hot chicken wings much better than any the surrounding eateries.Of course it's expensive for what your getting and the ambience is as good as a loud speaker announcing border and arrival calls, but if your hungry and don't give a hoot about tastes or textures, The Cubs Bar and Grill is just fine.Side note: They do pour a very generous cold glass of draft beer!
The bartender was wonderful and friendly and really made my bad day traveling much better. She was definitely the bright spot if my day. The manager on the otherhand..... it made me mad that he just pulled her aside and belittled her in front of customers. He has little guy syndrome really bad. I will always come here to have a beer from here on out just cause she is a wonderful person to be around. If hes here, well i can ignore him. The manager is the absolute definition of jerk. Hes lucky he has a good employee so im willing to over look that. If i walk by, he's here and she is not, i will never spend a dime here.
Was just here. They charged me 45+ bucks for 8 wings and 2 beers. Oh, sorry, got a side salad too... I told them I won't be back, because I wont. These folks are nothing more than a trap for the unknowing. They have sh** mgmt that must be seeing they have positive numbers abusing a brand name, with location in an airport... This place is a joke. Save your money folks, don't do it!
Worst bartender ever, she was too busy complaining and talking to a friend at the end of the bar and was inconvenienced to have to wait on customers. Would not step a foot out of the bar to wait on anyone that sat at a table. Watched several people walk out. I know it’s maybe not repeat customer business and limited options since it’s an airport but seriously bad service.
Don’t even attempt to go here. Our waiter was extremely rude and kept going MIA for at least 10 minutes at a time (the restaurant was maybe 1/8th filled). We had to ask the bartender for our check. On top of all of that, they said they are only serving burgers and appetizers which fine we’ll take that. The burgers we had were nothing short of disgusting. This place was such a waste of time, energy, and money.
This was an okay spot. I grabbed breakfast here while passing through Chicago and wasn't overly impressed. The restaurant itself was alright. It had plenty of seating and a bar area. The food was pretty good, nothing to rave too much about, but just an okay breakfast. What was disappointing was the service. The waitress was extremely slow, that's when she was around --most of the time she was elsewhere and not serving others. The restaurant was empty and still, service was mediocre at best. Perhaps just a bad day?Anyway, overall, just alright. I likely wouldn't head back to this spot again, though.
Would not recommend. Bartender on 7/18/20 was very rude. Customer was waiting for service for a good while and asked me how long i had been waiting and i said 30 minutes. Bartender called me a liar and refused service lol. This is 9 in the morning. We were not rude at all just honest. Service was awful to others besides me getting zero.
For the best experience sit at the bar. Beers were cold and delicious. Ordered the bison burger and it was perfectly cooked (recommend ordering the bison burger rare to ensure proper cook). Would’ve taken a pic of the burger but I ate it too fast.
Waited 10 minutes, asked for a manager. None available. Entered after 3 p.m., only a third full. Indifferent, unprofessional staff. What a scam. Don't waste your time. Pathetic.
Possibly the worst burger I’ve ever had. The McDonald’s burger I had on my flight out was better. Service was horrible too....like they had total disregard for the fact that I had a flight to catch. Never again.
Service was unbelievably slow watched 3 tables order and get their food before I got the water I asked for. Burger ce out cold they took it back to "remake: it which means .microwave it. Ketchup I put on the.plate before came back hot. Very dissatisfying. Definitely place not to visit on my next flight through ohare.
Awful food. Worse than airplane food. Bland and flavorless. Don't eat the baked pasta.
Noisy, greasy, but a place to sit down and munch at ORD.
Friendly server, but this $16 bison burger tastes and looks like it was boiled. It was also cold upon arrival. Even the ranch didn't help. Meh.
Overall just ok - Chicago Hot Dogs basically plain hotdogs u can get in a store ("plump Vienna beef hotdogs" in menu does NOT describe what u get). Staff very nice, prices fair for an airport restaurant. Fries were awesome though!
Had the bbq chicken wings, okay.. too much bbq sauce but hit the spot. They were fast, and it has a nice view of the planes.
Worst burger ever. The meat was burt to a crisp and tasted like a hockey puck, and the canned jalapeno peppers were nasty. Service was extremely slow, and apparently you are only allowed 1 soda. On the plus side, there are plenty of TVs to watch whatever game is on or multiple games at the same time.
This is a first for me. I actually got stiffed here. Ordered a green line and wings with plenty of time before my flight. Got the beer after quite a wait. Paid the bill because my boarding time was coming and was told my wings would be right up. I never got them!
Waiter was very rude and condescending, hit on our female compainions. Food was sitting at the window waiting to come to our table even though the reasutraunt was empty. Waiter chased us out when he felt his tip was inadequate
Ordered a drink and wings. Drink came right up, patiently waited for my food then after seeing people coming in after me getting their food in less than 10 mins. Going on 35 minutes and still never got my food! Paid for my drink and just walked out. Horrible customer service!
Good enough hot dogs. Expected airport pricing. Often so understaffed that if you don't have a super long layover, it's useless to you.
Food was ok. Service was slow. Not the fastest option in the airport but not a bad place to kill some time on a layover.
exactly what i was looking for in the airport. i taught her how to make me a cherry pepsi.
Very good food! Service was great( dont expect the best as they are all busy make sure people dont miss their flights! ). Food came fast!
My first taste of Chicago was such a disappointment. I wanted a hot dog but they only had a plate with two + fries and that was too much food. I asked my waitress if I could get a half plate and she asked if I saw half plates on the menu. Where I come from, that's a pretty rude reply. So I got the only small things they had. A small ceasar salad and small fries for $10. The menu promises crispy fries but mine were soggy and limp. The salad was decent but ...
